OMBRA RIU I CONVIU aims to highlight the public, ecological, and inclusive nature of the Turia River’s mouth, allowing its vegetation to become a transformative element of the urban landscape.

In continuity with the surrounding neighborhoods, the new pathways evolve into cultural routes where water phytoremediation systems help shape the landscape.

The strength of the project lies in the clarity with which the park integrates with the urban fabric of Nazareth. On one hand, its environmentally sensitive perimeter opens the park to the neighborhood, while on the other, it provides protection from traffic and port noise.

The design is conceived in harmony with the Mediterranean landscape of its surroundings—a minimally altered environment with winding paths that recall the former shoreline, and clearings that emerge naturally to accommodate uses defined through community consultation.
